Reproductive System
One of the topics that I am interested in would be the reproductive system. I am interested mainly in the female reproductive system and how it works. I read a little into it and found out that the female reproductive system is one of the most vital systems because it can determine whether a specie will live. The reproductive system produces offsprings
(I already knew that one), and the most important event in the reproductive system is the fertilization. I am usually fascinated by the way the reproductive system works and I am looking forward to learning more about it.
Digestive and Urinary System
One of the other topics I'm interested in learning more about would be the digestive and urinary system. Many people who think about the digestive system may think it includes the stomach area. But after reading a little of this chapter, it includes more than that while being a unique combination of elements that help break down and digest food and nutrients. The system includes organs and chemical gases & fluids that help the body absorb and distribute nutrients. The digestive system is vital to the health and wellness of individuals as it is the main element that provides natural energy needed to for thinking and movement. Aside from extracting nutrients from food, it helps the body get rid of unwanted waste as feces and urine.
Endocrine System
The endocrine system is probably the other topic I look forward to learning more about. I do know after reading into this chapter, that the endocrine system most basically includes a number of hormones and glands within the body. The endocrine system is defined by glands which secretes hormones into the body to regulate it and it becomes an information signal system. The hormones are the body's chemical messengers that transfer information from one set of cells to the other. The glands are a group of cells that produces and secretes chemicals.
I feel that all three of these topics because the endocrine system works with many other systems and parts of the body. Inclusive to the reproductive system, the endocrine system works with the nervous system, gut, liver, kidneys, pancreas, and fat. The growth and development, energy levels, homeostasis, and responses and monitored in cooperation with these systems and parts of the body.
Integumentary and Musculoskeletal System
The chapter I am most not looking forward to would be the Integumentary and musculoskeletal systems. The reason being, I have never been able to fully understand everything concerning the muscles or bones. I do know that the adult human skeletal system consists of 206 bones, as well as a network of tendons, ligaments and cartilage that connects them. The skeletal system performs vital functions - support, movement, protection, blood cell production, calcium storage and endocrine regulation - that enable us to survive. So I am fully aware of the importance of this chapter, but still have never
