Probability sampling method involves random selection of participants that guarantees that each member of the population has as equal chance of being selected. When we collecting samples according to the Probability sampling method there are 4 kinds of methods are to be considered. Types of probability sampling methods are Simple Random Sampling, Stratified Random Sampling, Cluster Samples, and Systematic Samples onprobability sampling method involves selecting members of the accessible population in a non random manner. For Nonprobability sampling method there are five types. Those are Convenience, Volunteer, Purposive, Quota, and Network/Snowball. When we consider about these two types of research methods each methods are suitable for specific scenarios. As an example Quantitative research method has the advantage of collecting vast amount of data. So it is a method of analyzing data from large number of people or sources. Whereas qualitative research method is primary exploratory research. It can be used to gain an understanding the reasons, opinions, and motivations. That provides closer look into the problem or helps to develop ideas for potential quantitative research. Qualitative Research is also used to uncover trends in thought and opinions, and dive deeper into the problem.

Qualitative research method gathers data that is freeform and nonnumerical, such as diaries, openended questionnaires, interviews and observations that are not more coded using a numerical system. Because qualitative data represent those variables that describe something that is categorical or nonnumeric. Common qualitative variables include eye color, gender, ethnicity, and marital status. Qualitative variables cant be averaged or put through other types of statistical analysis. Some distinctive qualitative methods are the use of focus groups and key informant interviews, the latter often identified through sophisticated and sometimes, elitist, snowballing techniques. The focus group technique involves a moderator facilitating a small group discussion between selected individuals on a particular topic, with video and hand scribed data recorded, and is useful in a coordinated research approach studying phenomenon in diverse ways in different environments with distinct stakeholders often excluded from traditional processes (Morgan, 1988).

Qualitative researchers may have many choices related to data collection ranging from grounded theory and practice. The most common method is the qualitative research interview, but forms of the data collected can be included group discussions, observation and field notes, various texts, photos, and other materials. Very popular among the qualitative researchers are the studies of photographs, public and official documents, personal documents, and historical items in addition to images in the media and literature fields.
