The most significant community organization is Kiwanis Club of Palatka. The community takes pride in caring for younger adults. Kiwanis Club of Palatka is a 501 (c) (3) NonProfit Organization, which is made up of volunteers who serve as directors (Putnam. FL). Due to the fact that the members are volunteers, they are not required to pay dues while also not being paid for their services as board members, and volunteers. The directors of Kiwanis Club of Palatka are nominated by each districts commissioner and city council member (Putnam. FL). In studying the various organizations in the community, Kiwanis Club of Palakta has the most invested members, which shows how important young children are to this small community. The purpose of Kiwanis Club of Palatka is to support programs such as the Boys Ranch, Palatka High School Athletics, give scholarships to graduating seniors of Palatka High School, and more importantly advocate on behalf of young adults in the community. This is done by looking for out grants for young adult programs that are obtainable for nonprofit organizations (Putnam. FL). The members come together every other month on the second Thursday every at 4 p.m. alternating between Sleeping Inn Meeting Rooms and the City Hall (Putnam. FL).

Mrs. Taylor trusts that the strengths of this organization is the history, reputation has been able to provide a lot of assets to the younger community, and also their readiness to work (Kamia Taylor, personal interview, November 15, 2015). Conversely, she stated that the weakness of this organization would have to be that the parents of the children are too busy to be involved with the organization, in a sense (Kamia Taylor, personal interview, November 15, 2015).

The Rothman mode of this organization would have to be the Community Capacity Development because the residents of this community have acknowledged how much the youth were in need of resources and they tried everything in their power to meet the young peoples need. As described by Mrs. Taylor, the organization asset is its history for supporting for the youth. The volunteers and board members of this organization work hard for the youth in the community, in hopes to stray them away from activities in crime. The organization has proved that it meets the criteria of high influence for the various amenities provided to youth in the community and the power the youth has grown because of this
